Calton Calling presents an opportunity for heritage encounters that reclaim Calton Hill as a place for people, not just monuments to empire.​​​​​​​ The interpretation plan encourages multi-sensory discovery of the social history of Calton Hill, through play and exploration.

This project was informed by research I conducted on how visitors experience wonder at cultural heritage sites.
